(Introduction)

Richard (Ric) Sanders, (born 1950),has been an avid student of the Bible for over thirty-five years. He has taught both children and adult classes in various churches over the years. He has in the past been a member of the following Churches - -

Because of the nature and travel requirements of his Contract Engineering business, he has attended many different churches including - -

He brings to this website a special understanding and presentation of Bible teaching which his years of Bible study has provided. His training and background as a Professional Electrical Engineer serves as a unique platform for questioning and reasoning his way through the Holy Scriptures. His bible teaching on the "Seven Churches of Revelation" particularly exemplify his insight.

It is his prayer that you be blessed by this teaching ministry, may the Lord himself be exalted and glorified by it. May the Holy Spirit provide the power to proclaim his Word faithfully and the guidance to understand the scriptures to every one. As our Lord says, "he who has ears to hear, let him hear".

The purpose of this ministry is to teach the Word of God and promote sound healthy doctrine to those who are hungry for wisdom and understanding of the Bible. This ministry also challenges Pastors and Bible Teachers to re-examine certain select bible passages presented and compare to traditionally accepted teaching. In these few cases, it is my hope that you will join me and search the scriptures to "see if these things be so".

Christians are vulnerable to the solicitation of various Bible doctrines in a similar fashion to the advertising industry soliciting their products. When we hear the same nonsensical TV ad information over and over, it no longer triggers our sense of discernment and judgment, but it slowly migrates into the "makes sense to me" category. Some of the topics covered on this website are meant to challenge our historical and traditional perspective of important Bible doctrines. Not with an attitude of giving offense, but to more accurately discern the meaning of the words of our Lord.

Colossians 1:10
that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

2 Peter 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

Acts 20:29
"For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.."

Knowledge of the Word of God is obtained by our own human efforts and to the extent we desire. The study and memorization of His Word is promoted and encouraged throughout scripture, especially Psalms 119.
However, Bible knowledge obtained by "flesh power" is divinely understood as the Truth of the Word of God by the Power of the Holy Spirit to reveal to us and in us the glory and Revelation of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the saying is true that a godly and abundant life is obtained by the Believer and servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the KNOWLEDGE of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

The point of these remarks is to emphasize that knowledge of the Word of God is not an end in and of itself, for . .

1 Corinthians 8:1
. . . Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

Rather, the correct application of the knowledge of the Word of God is to produce God's love in our hearts through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 1:5
Now the purpose of the commandment is LOVE from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE.

Mr. Sanders is not a Pastor over a local Church and is therefore free to present Bible Teaching to all Church Members regardless of one's Church affiliation without bias. Biblical discernment also extends to Christian Bible Teaching which is promoted via television, radio, and the Internet.

This website teaching ministry is not to promote or recommend a particular Church although by nature of Bible doctrine and traditions, it will be readily apparent that some Churches would agree with this website ministry teaching, while others would not. The Church is not to be hostile, militant, or divisive with respect to mistreating or alienating any Child of God as a fellow servant of Jesus Christ based on Bible doctrine. The book of I John makes clear who is to be regarded as a Child of God and fellow believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. In brief, the test for whether or not to accept a professing Christian as a believer in Christ is - -

  1. They Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
  2. They Practice Righteousness
  3. They Love Everyone Begotten of Him (Jesus Christ)

There remains a for all Christians who strive for doctrinal steadfastness in the Faith, for the Apostle Paul says - -.

2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

This does not mean that fellow Christians who are not sound in Faith are to be held in contempt. ..

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Each Christian is solely responsible to determine that body of teaching which admonishes and encourages them in their Christian walk. Our ability to determine and follow sound Bible doctrine is influenced by the church we attend, by our personal bible study, by our desire and ability to open our ears to the Word of God. The ultimate result of our work is allowing the Holy Spirit to be our guide.

Mark 4:24
Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who HEAR, MORE will be given.

John 16
12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

While I try to adhere to sound bible teaching, I do not feel that any church or bible teacher, preacher, or pastor has a monopoly on the Truth concerning the Word of God. However, the joy of studying and understanding the Word of God is to sit at the feet of different Bible teachers and learn from their insight and study of the scriptures. I am most fond of those Bible Teachers who have the ability to teach the Old Testament with a seemingly personal relationship with the old testament bible characters. I find such bible teachers able to bring out both the old and the new:

Matthew 13:52
Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old."

FINALLY . . .

2 Corinthians 13:11
FINALLY, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, LIVE IN PEACE; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

1 Peter 3:8
8 FINALLY, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; LOVE AS BROTHERS, be tenderhearted, be courteous;
9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing

James 3
1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.
2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

1 Thessalonians 5:13
. . . Be at peace among yourselves.
